Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan always has a unique way of everything. From promoting his movies to giving updates on his whereabouts, courtesy to his writing talent inherited from his father. This Monday, Jaya Bachchan celebrated her 70th birthday and Big B, like every time had something special for his wife’s birthday.
This time the actor surprised us by sharing Jaya’s ‘progress report’ on his Twitter account and also on his blog. Amitji shared a collage of two pictures in which on one side, there’s a black and white photo of Jaya Bachchan holding one of her children in her arms, while another picture is the 70th birthday of the lady where both Shweta and Abhishek Bachchan are tightly hugging their mother.
He captioned the picture, “T 2769 – The ‘progress report’ then .. and now..”
Son Abhishek Bachchan also posted for the birthday girl on Tuesday on his Instagram account with the caption, “Birthday girl #aboutlastnight”
Big B also shared a throwback picture and present picture of Jaya and their children on his blog and posted a sweet birthday message for Jaya. He wrote on his blog, “At the stroke of the midnight hour the greetings and wishes and calls and the feeding of sweetmeats; the gifting of love and togetherness and the welcoming of the lady on her 70th… She be wife and Mother and she be with her ‘progress report’.”
He further added, “Feelings and love delivered… writings of occasion hand written on card… the gratitude of the special day and spending the time with all about, reminiscing… Quiet… still and intimate… the best way to bring in a remembrance and the passage of time over the year gone by.”
