With “Kehne Ko Hain Humsafar” web series she is also taking her next step as reports suggest that she is bringing a web series based on the erotic literature, Kamasutra.
As per the report that said, “The fictional series will be based on the Goli caste in Rajasthan. It is believed that the female population of the caste used to serve as concubines to the kings. They would live in the same palace where the queens were housed and would enjoy all the possible luxuries. Interestingly, they also enjoyed a fair amount of freedom and rights.”
Sources further stated that Ekta was personally taking care of the script as the idea has been lying on Ekta’s mind for quite some time. It said, “The scripting is underway with Ekta supervising it. Simultaneously, she is also on the lookout for a director who will be able to handle the subject with the required sensitivity and aesthetics. India is the land of Kamasutra and it’s essential to throw the spotlight on the culture without passing moral judgment.”
Well, India has been the land of Kamasutra and the tale of it interests many. Now that Ekta took the responsibility to narrate the story, we are sure it will be intensifying. It will be a puzzle who will be the cast of her next web series until Ekta will reveal it.
