Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover changed the comedy circuit in India. This duo, with their brilliant talent, made our weekends full of joy and laughter. Accompanied by some amazing comedians, ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ was a grand success.
But earlier this year, the show lost its shine due to a brawl between Sunil Grover and Kapil Sharma. Sunil decided to leave the show and other fellow comedians, too, followed his footstep.
Soon, the magic of the show disappeared resulting in low TRPs. Next came Kapil Sharma’s health issues, which forced him to stop the show. Everything fell out of place for him.
Though Sunil refused to work with Kapil Sharma, the fellow comedians remained close friends. Now, Kapil is coming up with his movie ‘Firangi’ and during its promotions, he spoke to Mid-Day about his friendship with Sunil,
Sunil and I haven’t met in a long time, but we chat over messages. He is currently in Canada. As soon as he returns, we will meet up and discuss the possibility of a new show. Hopefully, we should be back together. The rest of the cast members are also ready to come on board.”When he had left the show earlier [to pursue his own show, Mad In India], I had dissuaded him from leaving us. This time too, I was sad that our issue had become so big that it had started affecting our friendship. I tried explaining to him that everyone makes mistakes and I too had committed one.
Kapil also said the entire cast of the show might be back in the next season.
