There is no doubt that Virat Kohli is the best in the world of cricket. The 29-year-old skipper of the Indian cricket team has been scoring runs like a machine powered by nuclear energy. With 32 tons, he already is the cricketer with the second-highest centuries in ODIs. And the pace at which he is moving, Kohli might shatter Sachin Tendulkar’s record in the same.

But how does Kohli slam those balls out of the park? There is no rocket science involved here; it is a simple fact that Kohli (or any good sportsperson) is fit as hell.

Kohli exercises regularly and practices cricket daily for hours. That’s like living a life on the legs between getting up from and going to bed.
So he is the right man for lessons on fitness. And he indeed gives us an important lessons in fitness, provide the youth of the nation pay heed.
At the launch of his lifestyle brand, One8, Kohli asked the youth of the country to play outdoor sport instead of keeping themselves hooked to social media.
Kohli said:
“These days you see kids playing video games a lot more than outdoor sport. Physical activity is very important. And my message is not just for the youth, it is for everyone in our country.”
Commenting about social media, he said:
“One should spend only limited time on social media rather being on it for major part of the day, like what is happening nowadays.”
One8 is Kohli’s lifestyle brand in association with Puma.ETR
And he admitted that he, too, was hooked to it at one point of time:
“I too used to spend a lot of time on social media but now I have realized it is a waste of time. You can use your time in doing something much more productive.”
So that’s it, young men and women. It is true that even children as old as 10 are more hooked to social media and smartphones instead of spending time outside on the playground. It is obviously creating a generation of weak humans. A part of the blame has to be shared by the parents who gift their children expensive gadgets but do not let them go outside to play.
