The 10 Hottest Miss Universe Ever !

Everyone gathers annually to watch Miss Universe every year. What we don’t know (or many) is that all of this started in Long Beach, California back in 1952. Initially Miss Universe was held as the local “bathing beauty” competition for Swimwear but years later it has evolved into what we all know today: a raging beauty pageant with contestants from all over the world.Throughout the years we’ve all been fond of a few, we’ve been rooting for them since the first time we laid eyes on them.

1. Miss Universe 1990 – Mona Grudt

Mona Grudt was crowned Miss Universe in 1990. She became one of the prettiest ladies to ever appear in a beauty contest. They named her “the beauty queen from hell” because of her killer looks. She is most certainly the one and only Norwegian lady to ever win this amazing contest.Miss Universe is worldly recognized for its beauty queens but it really reinforces the role of women in society for over 60 decades.

Armi was the first Miss Universe ever representing Finland. Although you would think she would lead a very successful life she chose the maternal side of it by getting married.

Most of us entering our late 20’s will recognize Weatherly as Jilly in Baywatch but she actually got her acting career started because of her Miss Universe title in 1980.

The 2004 Aussie winner has not stopped becoming one of the most famous winners in history. She is the hostess of Australia’s Next Top Model and also the CEO of several products and clothing lines.

8. Miss Universe 1998 – Wendy Fitzwilliam

Wendy has known to be one of the tallest winners in history. The 6’0 model won for Trinidad & Tobago in 1998 and is now considered an author and she also is the creator of the Caribbean’s Next Top Model.

9. Miss Universe 2005 – Natalie Glebova

Natalie is not the first Canadian winner but she surely may be the finest one. After winning the title she became the face of many beauty products and attended various fashion shows.She also became a TV host, author and a dancer. What an overachiever!


10. Miss Universe 1989 – Angela Visser

Angela Visser is the first Miss Universe from the Netherlands. After winning the title she turned to television and film in hopes of becoming an actress.
