In an exclusive interview with ‘Laughing Colours’, comedian Kapil Sharma revealed that the news of his show going off-air are pure rumours.
He said, “These are just rumors. We have just got our contract renewed. And about the drama company, they are doing well. My good friends are in that show. I wish them luck. I hope media acts a little responsible and stop spending such rumors.”
There were rumours that the new comedy show ‘The Drama Company’ featuring Sunil Grover and Krushna Abhishek have swiped away TKSS.
But the truth is that the show is not going off-air. Infact, it is taking a small season break.
Even the Sony channel has confirmed that the show will be back in some time.
Another reason for Kapil’s break from TV for a small time is his health. From past few weeks, he has not been doing well heath-wise. This has many a times resulted in cancelling or delaying of shoots.
He told a renowned website, ” Yes, I am just going to rest for some days. It is just a drop of a few episodes because I cannot ignore my health at this stage when my movie is also going to release and the coming schedule is going to be more hectic. I will come back with full force. I am thankful to the channel that they allow me and did not put any pressure.”
Well, the show is expected to witness some good and exciting changes after the come-back.
