MP Cop runs for 1 km with 10 Kg Bomb to save the life of 400 Children
A 10 kg was discovered on the campus of a school in chitora village of Sagar district. When the unexploded artillery shell was discovered, there were around 400 children present in the school. Displaying exemplary bravery and courage a cop tucked the 20 kg bomb under his arm and ran for 1 km to save the life of 400 children.
Head constable Abhishek Patel told the media persons “My only objective was to run as far as possible away from the children and the residential areas “. A 12-second video clip of him running with holding the bomb in his arms has gone viral.

At the time the bomb was discovered, there were around 400 students in the school campus. Someone was quick enough to dial 100 immediately and inform the police, and the police too responded instantly. Once police saw the bomb it directed the school administration to close the school for the day and ask the students to leave.
Once the news of the bomb in the campus spread there were hue and cry everywhere. The media persons arrived shortly. At that moment constable Patel picked up the bomb and started running. Only one person amongst them was able to capture the video of his running with the 1 km long sprint bomb.
Patel was a part of a similar police operation when a bomb was spotted earlier. “If the bomb had exploded it would have caused damaged to a radius of 500 m, and my only aim was to take it as far as possible from the school and residential areas “, he said.
