We are sure you all are aware of Grandmaster Shifuji Shaurya Bhardwaj. Don’t recognise him? Well, google the name, and we bet you will realise that you have seen many of his videos, and probably shared them as well. This man became a social media star with his provocative videos, warning the traitors of the country. While this man claimed to be an elite Army officer and everyone believed him, unfortunately this is NOT the truth.
If you check the ‘About’ section of his official YouTube channel, he claims to be ‘special commando trainer for combatants of the Army’s fighting regiment’. But several reports that we stumbled upon, are claiming otherwise. According to a report by Alt News, one Abhishek Shukla was not very convinced with the videos he was sharing on social media. Grandmaster Shifuji’s growing popularity bagged him roles in Bollywood movies, and was even called debates on news channels.

Abhishek decided to crosscheck his background. He uploaded a video in which he exposed Shifuji, saying that he is a fake soldier.
He then filed a police complaint at Ahmedabad Crime Branch so that the claims made by the fake Army man can be verified. He kept on following the issue, and filed several RTI applications. And finally he got a response from Ministry of Defence (Navy). The reply said that no person named Shifuji Shaurya Bhardwaj ever worked as a Marine Commando in the Indian Navy, and neither any such person has been involved in training Marine Commandos.

The reply was relevant, as you might have seen in the video above that Shifuji often wore the MARCOS badge in his videos, and claimed that he has been training commandos for over two decades.
