Janhvi Kapoor is still riding the success of her debut movie Dhadak alongside Ishaan Khatter directed by Shashank Khaitan. The movie has received a positive review from the critics as well as the audience. A newcomers movie Dhadak is doing exceptionally well at the box office too. Bollywood fraternities’ love and response to the movie, overwhelmed Janhvi Kapoor. Movie’s latest box-office collections stand at a whopping amount of Rs. 64 Cr.

Well, if we are talking about Sridevi’s daughter Janhvi, let us tell you a small lovely story of how Janhvi gets her name from mother and father and how it is related to actress Urmila Matondkar.
Sridevi and Boney Kapoor were blessed with their first child on March 6, 1997. A few days before, Sridevi’s blockbuster movie Judaai got released on February 28, 1997, which also stars Urmila Matondkar and Anil Kapoor and directed by Boney Kapoor. When naming their first child, Sridevi and Boney decide to pick the name Janhvi from their movie’s character which is of Urmila as Janhvi- if you remember.
Urmila’s character name is Janhvi in the movie and Sridevi and Boney liked the name so much that they named her baby girl as Janhvi Kapoor only.
It is sad that Sridevi didn’t get the chance to see her daughter debuting in Bollywood. But it is also said, Mother Sridevi had already seen some parts of the movie before she went to Dubai for Mohit Marwah’s wedding and then she never came back again.

Dhadak movie is the Hindi remake of Marathi Sairat and it is helmed by Nagraj Manjule which becomes the biggest hit in the history of Marathi cinema by earning over Rs 100 crores at the Box Office. Songs and music of the movie Dhadak is nothing but so mesmerizing. People loved Zingaat song from both the version. Pehli Baar song is beautifully written and sung which tells summarises the first love.
