Cute and Jolly Juhi Chawla is a favorite of many and recently the actress’s two movies completed over two decades. Juhi’s movie Yes Boss alongside Shah Rukh Khan completed 21 years while Hum Hai Rahi Pyaar Ke along with Aamir Khan finished 25 years.
When Juhi Chawla was asked about the same by a leading daily, the lady laughs and replied, “I have never thought about it. My PRs tell me to tweet something and I do.” On a serious note, the actress reflects that she can’t believe so many years have passed. “To tell you truthfully, I haven’t watched 95 percent of my work. Maybe, I have seen a film once at a preview or in a theatre but never revisited them. For me, it’s a mixture of amazement and disbelief that I did all this work”.
Further continuing, Juhi was asked if she wants any of her films to be remade as these days remakes are in trend, she describes, “Maybe Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani. When we made the film, the media was just beginning to explode, it was too early to talk about channel wars, TRPs, etc. There was so much behind-the-scenes politics, about politicians etc, that probably people didn’t get the nuances at that time. But it makes so much sense today, I think that film ought to be worked upon now”.
Well, the question arose further that whom Juhi would like to see doing her and Shahrukh Khan’s role in the remake of Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani, Juhi concluded that she would love to see Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor doing the remake. She said, “Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. I recently saw Sanju (starring Ranbir) and Raazi (starring Alia) and both are superlative. I would like them in Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani if it is remade”.
