After ruling Indian BO, Ranbir Kapoor’s starrer Sanju to release in China
After a positive run at the Indian box office, the producers are currently making plans to release the mega hit flick ‘Sanju’ in other Asian zones comprising China.Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Sanju, which has been hitting BO records at the box office, become the 4th top earner of all times as it has crossed the overall collection of Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

Going tough during its 3rd week, Rajkumar Hirani‘s flick has been hitting big records at BO.
Vijay Singh, CEO, Fox Star Studios said, “Many distributors in China have reached out to us. They have watched the film and there is a lot of interest in releasing it in the country. We are also looking at the muscle of Fox Star to plan and release the film in Japan, South Korea, etc.”
“It is all about good writing. Star power helps but the golden rule is you need to have a fantastic script and get someone who can capture the imagination. The audience will not throw money just for the sake of it. They are a reminder that good films will be accepted,” Vijay, who is on the team as a distributor, added up.

Sanju got co-produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and director Rajkumar Hirani.
China has surfaced as a gigantic market for Indian movies after the fantastic success of Mr. Perfectionist’s Dangal, Salman’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Irrfan Khan’s Hindi Medium.
Singh stated that it was not possible to disclose the figure of screens at this point of time. Fox Star is making plans for the next episodes of Jolly LLB, Bang Bang and Baaghi.

“Our director Subhash Kapoor should have a script ready by the end of this month. There is a lot of work that has happened on that. With regards to Bang Bang sequel, we are done with the first half, the work is on the second half. Also Baaghi 3, which is with producer Sajid Nadiadwala, will happen by 2020,” Vijay Singh added.
The studio is even making plans to roll out Jolly LLB 2 that had Akshay in the lead character, in China.
