Everything was going great for Kapil Sharma as he was making a comeback on television with his new show “Family Time with Kapil Sharma”. But suddenly, a controversy erupted with one tweet of Sunil Grover in which he answered a query of his fan and said that he is not a part of Kapil’s new show and in fact, he was not even called for it.
Kapil also responded to this tweet and said that Sunil is lying and his team tried to contact him many times. As a result, the show has become controversial even before going on-air.
Kapil didn’t attend the launch event of the show which embarrassed the makers and Sony TV and now, his promotional shoot with Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani for their movie “Baaghi 2” has also been called off.
The channel may have come up with an excuse of technical difficulties but people feel that it is all happening because Kapil wants to avoid answering questions on his new controversy with Sunil Grover.
This is what the statement released by the channel Sony TV reads,
“There has been a technical issue on the sets which cannot be resolved immediately. Hence, today’s shoot had to be rescheduled. The press conference has also been rescheduled. We will update you on the revised dates. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
If you remember, after the mid-air scuffle between Kapil and Sunil when they worked together in The Kapil Sharma Show, Kapil cancelled many shoots and it seems as if the history is repeating itself but isn’t it too early this time?
