Afridi Clean Bowled Misbah & Was About To Celebrate But Stopped To Show Respect Towards Him

Good sportsmanship is the key towards healthy relationship between players. In cricket, we have often seen all kinds of moments; at times, we see players arguing, while at other times, we see them showing good gestures for each other.

Of late, there was a huge controversy surrounding the Bangladeshi players. They showed lack of sportsmanship in the virtual semifinal against Sri Lanka.

Shakib and Nurul Hasan questioned the umpire’s decision and called their batsman back; we even saw a naagin dance, which was slammed by one and all. Amidst this, we saw a wonderful gesture coming in from Shahid Afridi.

Afridi has shown a brilliant performance in PSL i.e. Pakistan Super League; he’s in Karachi Kings team and has already treated to a wonderful catch few days back. What we love the most about him is the way he celebrates after taking wickets.

In a recent match against Islamabad United, Afridi took Misbah-Ul-Haq’s wicket (Former Pakistani captain). He clean bowled him and was about to celebrate. However, he realized that he was his captain earlier and stopped it. This shows Afridi’s respect towards Ul-Haq and we certainly appreciate it. Cricket fans loved this gesture;
