Virat Kohli Apologizes To Sadeek Samarawickrama After Hitting Him With Ball During A Match

Virat Kohli seems to be completely unstoppable these days. It looks as if he is his own competition and is in his best form. He just completed over 600 runs in a single Test series for the third time scoring 0, 104 not out, 213, 243 and 50, finishing with 610 runs from the three-Test series against Sri Lanka. Over the last 15 months, the Indian captain has broken many records in the longest game format.

On the ground, Virat’s sportsman spirit is infectious and his charisma inspires many young players in the team. This heartthrob has made us proud again and again. In fact, the teammates are inspired by the way he plays. Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya recently quoted that it is Kohli who inspires him the most.

At a recent match against the Sri Lankan team, an incident again proved that Virat is a gem in the Indian cricket team.

At a juncture when Virat was trying to hit the stumps with his ball, unfortunately, the ball hit Sadeera Samarawickrama who was at the non-striker end.

Knowing the fact that the ball had hit Sadeera badly, Kohli first waved to him and said sorry from a distance. He later came towards the cricketer and asked him if he was all right. Finding Sadeera smiling, Virat ended this conversation on an apologetic note.
