After Padmavati, another Bollywood film Tiger Zinda Hai has been received in a very negative way in Rajasthan.
Release of Padmavati was postponed already but Tiger Zinda Hai which released today has been received with violent protests.
Reportedly, the morning shows of the film had to be cancelled as the protestors entered the theatres in Jodhpur, Ajmer, Bikaner, Kota and other parts, raised slogans and burnt posters of the film.
The reason behind the protests is said to be the Valmiki community’s anger against Salman for using an offensive word about their community.
According to ANI, Salman had used the word during a Tiger Zinda Hai promotion and while referring to his dancing skills. Shilpa had reportedly used the word to describe how she looks at home.

The report said the National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) had taken note of complaints that Tiger Zinda Hai star Salman Khan and fellow Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty had used “derogatory language” against a particular community during a TV show.
The report added that the Information and Broadcasting Ministry as well as police chief of Mumbai and Delhi had been asked by the NCSC to report what action they had taken against the actors following the complaints.
The police has taken several people into custody who alleged that Salman had insulted the Valmiki community by using “cheap language”.
