A very disgracing incident of female molestation took place in Bengaluru at new year’s event last year and for avoiding such heinous things to happen again, people protested against Sunny Leone’s show on the occasion of new year in the city this year.
As per Karnataka Rakshana Vedike Yuva Sene, activities like molestation might be encouraged on account of her show and for the same, the group made a demand of cancelling her show. In fact, the group’s president said that they would commit mass suicide if she performed, reported India Today. In his words,
“We are against Sunny wearing short clothes. If she wears saree and takes part in the event, even we’ll go to watch her. Sunny doesn’t have a good past. We shouldn’t be encouraging such people. We will not hesitate to commit suicide on December 31.”
After so much of chaos and unrest, even Sunny is determined of not performing and cancelling the show.
She took to Twitter and wrote, “Since the police of Bangalore have publicly said that they will not be able to ensure mine & all who attend safety for my New Years event, my team & I feel, safety of the people should always come first therefore I cannot attend. God bless & I wish everyone a safe & happy New Year!”

Her second tweet read, “To all those who protested and to all those who supported, always remember, never allow others to speak and choose for you.Have your own voice and make your own choices. You are the youth and you are the NEW INDIA! Stand Proud and Stand together. I love you all dearly!”

Later Sunny Leone took to Instagram and gave a kickass response to protesters when she tweeted 9 pics of wonderful Bollywood actresses with caption, “A few women in Bollywood who have taught me that it’s perfectly ok to be myself. Sharmila Tagore…Mandakini…Dimple Kapadia…Rekha…Zeenat Aman… Madhubala…”
Here are the pics shared by Sunny:

9. Madhubala
Her post is undoubtedly a slap on the faces of protesters who claimed that inviting her will “assault” the culture of Bengaluru.
As you can see, she has shared hot photos of veteran actresses Madhubala, Zeenat Aman, Mandakini, Dimple Kapadia, Sharmila Tagore and Rekha. They are very popular actresses of their times who didn’t confine themselves to old fashion styles and broke the shackles of conservatism, setting new trends by being themselves.
Who can forget Zeenat Aman’s killing hot looks or the fact that Sharmila Tagore didn’t hesitate in wearing a two-piece in the year 1967 or Mandakini flaunted her assets in a transparent saree for “Ram Teri Ganga Maili”.
Now this is called a mouth-shutting and smart reply!
