The much-awaited trailer of Akshay Kumar starrer Padman is out and we are left awestruck. Padman is a biopic of the man who created cheapest sanitary napkins for the girls so that they can afford it.
Akshay shared the trailer on his FaceBook account.
The trailer starts with Amitabh Bachchan’s narration where he addresses Akshay as the Padman of our country.
Radhika Apte plays Akshay’s wife and their chemistry is truly amazing. In the wake of educating and providing proper menstrual hygienes to his wife and sisters, Akki faces a lot of problems as his family is embarrassed.
But he finally manages to win everyone’s trust along with Sonam Kapoor who helps him educate the women and the girls.
This social issue has a perfect dash of comedy, humor, drama, and emotions leaving us satisfied enough to watch the film.
After Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Akshay is back with this wonderful film with a good message and we are sure he will win hearts this time too.
Padman is produced by Akshay’s wife Twinkle Khanna under the banner Mrs Funnybones and KriArj Entertainment.
The film is slated to release on 26th Jan 2018.
