Rohit Sharma seems to be in a great form, as after hitting the third double century of his One Day International career, he went on to equal the record of the fastest century in the T20 Internationals.
He scored his century in just 35 balls, equalling the record of David Miller in the second T20i played against Sri Lanka; he got out at the score of 118 which he made in just 43 balls and India won the match by 88 runs after giving a mammoth target of 260 runs.
Rohit has been leading the team from the front as a captain as Virat Kohli opted out of the ODI and T20i series because of his marriage with Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, which took place in Tuscany, Italy, on December 11, 2017. India did lose the first ODI under Rohit’s captaincy and that too very badly but since then, he hasn’t looked back and we feel that he is utilising this series for breaking records.
He has been appreciated by Twitterati along with ICC and our Twitter King Virender Sehwag.
Here’s what ICC tweeted,
“The joint fastest T20I century!
35 balls
11 fours
8 sixes
What an innings! Take a bow Rohit Sharma! #INDvSL”

Sehwag feels that Rohit is making it look very easy but scoring like this is not easy at all.
Sultan of Multan tweeted a pic of Rohit Sharma and wrote, “RoHit Sharma ! Mazaak bana rakha hai yaar. It ain’t this easy yaar.”

We really hope that Rohit continues with this form in South Africa as well.
