To get more light on its creator, activist Santosh A S filed an RTI query to which the Archaeological Survey of India replied saying that there has been no scientific evident to say that Taj Mahal was built by Shah Jahan.

But the official statement of ASI and National Archives Department is valid
even shah jahan official books never claim he built tajmahal. reading P N Oaks tejomahal gives ample evidence. basically destructive people can't do constructive work.
