2017 was a year of grand weddings. Some weddings were speculated, but most of them were quite a surprise for all of us. Just rewind this year and look at the popular celebs who tied the knot in the year 2017.
1- Sagarika Ghatge and Zaheer Khan:
Indian cricket team’s player Zaheer Khan and actress Sagarika Ghatghe who were dating for a long time chose a court wedding on November 23, followed by a grand reception. The marriage was a closed affair with only the loved ones and friends a part of the court marriage.
2- Bhaarti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa:
Bharti Singh got hitched to beau Haarsh Limbachiyaa in a grand wedding destination wedding in Goa.
3- Aashka Goradia and Brent Goble:
Hot pair Aashka Goradia and Brent Goble had a gorgeous white wedding ceremony on December 1, 2017. It was attended by Aashka’s best pals such as Mouni Roy, Abigail Pandey, Sana Khaan, Juhi Parmar, Sanam Johar amongst others.
On her marriage plans, Aashka had stated, “My love story is a fairytale, so why not the wedding? If you asked me a couple of years ago, I used to think that I wouldn’t ever get married. Today, my friends ask me about that thought and my answer is that I found the right guy and what matters is getting married to him. This decision has led to the happiness of my family, who have always dreamt that I get married in a certain way, which is why I am going all out to have a fairy-tale wedding.”
4- Neil Nitin Mukesh and Rukmini Sahay:
They tied the knot on Feb 9 in a royal wedding affair in Udaipur. It was followed by a star-studded reception in Mumbai.
5- Vatsal Sheth and Ishita Dutta:
It came as a shocker well-known actor Vatsal Sheth got hitched with his lady love and ex co-actor Ishita Dutta in a hush-hush ceremonial occasion on November 28, 2017.
The two lovers tied the nuptial knot at Mumbai based ‘Iskcon temple’. The marriage ceremony was very closemouthed and was attended by just close pals and family members of both the actors.

6- Amrita Puri and Imrun Sethi:
Actress Amrita got hitched with her hotelier boyfriend Imrun Sethi in Bangkok. The couple had been seeing each other for quite some time, and Imrun featured regularly on Amrita’s Instagram posts.
7- Kavita Kaushik and Ronnit Biswas:
FIR fame Kavita Kaushik tied knot with boyfriend Ronnit Biswas in a Shiva temple in Kedarnath, Uttarakhand. The couple had close family and friends attending the wedding, including Kavita’s friend actress Aashka Goradia and her boyfriend Brent Goble.
8- Mandana Karimi and Gaurav Gupta:
They both tied knot earlier this year, but got separated very soon. In just six months to her marriage with Gaurav Gupta, she reportedly has filed for a divorce petition.
9- Navina Bole and Karan Jeet:
Ishqbaaz Fame Navika Bole got married to Karan Jeet on March 4. After the close-knitted wedding, newlyweds, Navina and Karan hosted a reception party for their industry friends.
10- Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma:
Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s wedding was the biggest event of the year. Nobody had expected their wedding. Although the media had speculated that the lovebirds might tie the knot on 11 December as they both along with their families were heading to Italy, there was no official confirmation from either of them.
It was a big fat Punjabi wedding in Italy where a handful number of people were invited.
