Padmavati has been surrounded by the controversies since the time of the shooting. Sanjay Leela Bhansali is being threatened as it is thought that he has distorted the history in this movie. In between of death threat received by Deepika and Sanja, there was a dead body found on Nahargarh fort with a message against Padmavati movie.
These particular incident has shocked the entire nation. Many Bollywood stars came in support of Padmavati with the opinion that no one can be blamed without even watching the movie and death is not a solution to anything.

The movie was scheduled to release on December 1 but following a new controversy every day, the movie is pushed from the original day and new date is yet to be announced.
