Days after Haryanvi beauty Manushi Chhillar had got her name written in the sky after bagging Miss World 2017 title, the proud nation has pinned expectation on Shraddha Shashidhar.
Shraddha Shashidhar is the one who symbolized India in this year’s Miss Universe contest in the city of Las Vegas. Though Shraddha failed to make an entry in the top 10 list, she has made Indian bigheaded in the international field. Remarkably, only two females from then from India- Sushmita Sen and Lara Dutta- had bagged the most coveted crown thus far.
Especially, Miss South Africa Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters won the Miss Universe title in a star-studded ceremonial occasion, turning her only the second South African to pocket the tiara. Margaret Gardiner was the one who bagged the crown during the year 1978, and the African state did not participate in the procession between the year 1985 and 1994. In the meantime, Miss Colombia was declared as the first runner-up and third place went to Miss Jamaica.
