16th November 2016 was the date when Sachin Tendulkar announced his retirement from all forms of cricket. This was the date when he played his last and 200th Test match of his career against West Indies at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai, his home ground. That was a cold day on November 15, 1989, but hot at National Stadium, Karachi as the Test match number 1127 was taking place between India and Pakistan. This was the match when our Sachin Tendulkar debuted in the 1st of the series.

That was the start of an era of cricket which could be called as Sachin era. the 16-year-old young chap from Mumbai started his journey of cricket. All cricket fans loved this shy young boy. Tendulkar embarked upon a career of a lifetime. The young talent showed on his illustrious career that lasted 24 years. His effort and grace of God had amassed 15,921 at 53.78 with a record 51 centuries and also 68 half-centuries in 200 Tests; which is amazing.
In his first Test, Tendulkar walked out to bat at number six with India tottering at 41 for four, in reply to Pakistan’s first innings total of 409. There were only 24 balls which Tendulkar could face during his game in the middle and yer earned himself two boundaries as well as 15 runs. However, in that match, he couldn’t stay long as another debutant entered.
This was the match when Younis was also debuting from the opponent team and the game was in the court of the opponent team and Younis did get the man of the match. However, Tendulkar performance was noticed and applauded with love and acceptance by the audiences.
What do u call about Sachin? His Grace, fabulous sense of timings, different poises the spontaneous display which often remained as his charm. His sheer class and the style all make Sachin as a hallmark cricketer. That was an unforgettable Saturday when Sachin Tendulkar was made the speaker.

He was welcomed by the loudest applause and through the awards ceremony when Ravi Shastri, handed over the mike to Tendulkar and said, “It’s all yours.”
That was really an emotional farewell speech. The audience was moved and stadium and all around the world applauded definitely with tears. Tendulkar revealed his emotional side of human and showed the love for his audiences.t
Nobody knew back then this 16-year-old chap will win millions of hearts across the world. That was an era which will always be remembered.
