Hatim was really the best, it even had dragons way before Game of Thrones did –
A majority of the show’s time was spent following the prince of Yemen around as he tried to help everyone he could humanly find and defeat the evil Dajjal. It aired originally from 2003 to 2004. Even though Lie OK had rebooted the series in 2013, there’s really no beating the cult classic goodness of the original.
But one wonders what the main cast members got up to after the show aired, so here they are.
#1 Rahil Azam (Hatim)
Rahil Azam played the titular Hatim throughout the original series’ run. After it’s wrap, he starred on multiple TV series such as Yeh Meri Life Hain, Mr. & Mrs. Mishra and Sarrthi. He apparent;y regained his heart throb status on a show called Ek Tha Chander, Ek Thi Sudha.
He also runs his family’s software business from Bangalore.
#2 Pooja Rawal (Jasmine)
The graceful Princess Jasmine starred in Kyuunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi before appearing in Hatim. She followed up with shows like Kabhi Aaye Na Judai, Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi and played a single mother who’s a lawyer in the ground breaking Siddhant.
#3 Hobo (Kiku Sharda)
The one we were all waiting for.
Kiku Sharma has appeared on a whole host of shows after his lovable performance in Hatim, mainly the Kapil Sharma show. But he was also a member of the cast on Comedy Circus Ke Ajoobe, Great Indian Comedy Show and Nach Baliye 6.

A highly accomplished actor, Normal Pandey, unfortunately, passed before his time in 2010 at the age of 47. However, he performed in a series of off-beat films such as Bandit Queen, Daayra, and Train to Pakistan.
He also started and acting school in Ghaziabad called “Fresh Talent Academy”. His death preced the release fo his final film, Lahore.
#5 King Of Paristan (Tom Alter)
Tom Alter has a unique background as an actor from Uttarakhand who is fluent in Hindi as well as Urdu. Having worked with names such as Satyajit Ray and Peter O’Toole, he has had a very accomplished career.
A noted television and theatre actor, he was also famous for his appearance in another cult series, Shaktimaan.
#6 Najjomi (Vijay Ganju)
Sadly, there is very little mention of Vijay Ganju online. However, as a form of apology, we’d like to present a picture of him where he’s still in his costume.
