Country’s major telecommunication operator, Bharti Airtel has declared several novel recharge packs for its prepaid clients ranging from Rs 8 to Rs 399.
Telecom operators, comprising Airtel, have been rolling out plans in an aggressive manner to oppose Reliance Jio that has gathered up more than 12 crore clients in a very short time period.
Jio brought a revolution in the Indian telecommunication zone via its free and easy plans that comprise completely low cost data as well as free voice calls.
More interestingly, the introduction of Jio Phone, a 4G based handset, could result in a further cost conflict and may actuate other telecom giants to roll out low priced cellular phones.
Here are the new mobile plans rolled out by Airtel:
Rs 8 plan: Local plus STD mobile calls 30 paise/minute for a period of 56 days.
Rs 40 plan: Rs. 35 talk time with limitless validity.
Rs 60 plan: Rs. 58 talk time with limitless validity.
Rs 5 plan: 4GB 3G/4G data for a period of 7 days. Offer applicable only after 4G SIM upgradation and for single recharge only.

Rs 199 plan: Unlimited local cell phone calls in addition to 1GB 2G/3G/4G data for a period of 28 days.
Rs 399 plan: This exciting plan by company provides 1 GB data daily at 4G speed together with infinite local and STD calls. The proposal is to oppose the Jio’s Rs 399 plan that too provides unlimited local and STD calls together with 1 GB data daily for 84 days.
Rs 349 plan: Airtel is providing infinite local and STD calls in addition to 28 GB data (1GB/day) for 28 days under this plan.

Reliance Jio shook up the whole telecom segment with its inexpensive and limitless tariff proposals. Jio was launched back in September 2016, and even since its influx, Reliance that has managed to gather millions of clientele has been ofefring restless days and nights to other telecommunication giants such as Airtel, Vodafone, as well as Idea Cellular.
