2. Maharani Gayatri Devi of Jaipur was said to be one of the most beautiful women of the royal families of India. She was left shattered when her husband and son died tragic deaths.
3. King Ashoka killed his 99 brothers out of 100 for clearing his path to the throne. He left one to make him his deputy king.
4. When the Wadiyar dynasty took over the Mysore empire, they killed its king and queen who were trying to escape. The queen eventually ended up committing suicide and cursed them for having no heir to the throne.

7. The Nizam of Hyderabad tried hiding all his wealth in trucks from the government. But later all the trucks later got infested by termites and moths.
8. The last Nizam of Hyderabad, Mir Usman Ali Khan, used Jacob Diamond as a paperweight. It is the fifth largest diamond in the world, its size is that of an egg of an ostrich(184.97 ct) and costs whopping ₹ 50 Lakh.
